Hotel Booking Conditions
General
These terms and conditions are applicable to all guests at an Emirates Hotels and Resorts property (each such property being referred to in these conditions as the "Hotel")
Bookings, cancellations and charges
- All bookings are subject to availability, and the Hotel shall be entitled to refuse any booking on reasonable grounds.
- Charges will be at the quoted rates, on the terms set out in connection with the quoted rate, and may exclude taxes, service charges and items of a like nature where specified.
- Where specified, advance bookings require payment of part or all of the total amount due, and will not be confirmed until receipt of such payment. Such amounts may be forfeited in the event of cancellation or failure to check in on the specified date, in accordance with the terms applicable to the relevant rate.
- Cancellation policies vary according to the Hotel, the length of stay, and the rate booked, and are shown in the terms applicable to each rate.
- Alterations to booking details may result in a rate change.
- Guests will generally be required to provide a deposit and/or credit card details on booking or arrival.
- All outstanding charges are to be paid upon check-out.
Hotel Regulations
- Check in time is from 14:00hrs
- Check out time is 12:00noon, check out thereafter may result in a late departure fee or an additional night being charged.
- Pets may not be brought onto the premises with the exception of guide dogs.
- Guests shall comply with all rules, regulations and instructions at the hotel, including but not limited to security procedures, health and safety procedures, registration requirements
- The Hotel shall be entitled to refuse a guest entry or accommodation or to require a guest to leave the premises if unreasonable behaviour is displayed, be it threatening or abusive, causing disturbance to other guests or otherwise unacceptable
- A safe is available in each room for the storage of valuables as a service to guests; however the Hotel will not accept liability for loss or damage to those items.
Child Policy:
- Infant; 0-2 years old, accommodation and all meals free of charge
- Child: 3-12 years old, accommodation free of charge and meals charged at 50% discount
- Children 13 years and above shall be treated as adults.
- Children under 13 years of age must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times while on the Hotel's premises.
Limitation of liability
- In the event that rooms of the category specified in the booking are unavailable on check-in, the Hotel shall, at the Hotel's discretion, upgrade the guest to a higher room category (where available), provide the guest with a lower room category and compensation for the difference in cost (where available), or transfer the guest at the Hotel's cost to an alternative hotel of a similar standard and shall be responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of the transfer.
- The Hotel shall not be liable for failure or delay in delivering obligations under the booking contract if the cause of the failure or delay is due to reasons beyond its control. These include, but are not limited to: war or threat of war, civil or political action or disturbance, riot, natural disaster, fire, epidemic, bad weather, terrorist activity (threatened or actual), military activity, governmental or regulatory action, industrial dispute, failure of power or machinery, failure of or interruption in externally provided services and utilities.
- The Hotel shall not be liable for any loss of or damage to a guest's property which is:
- caused or contributed to by the negligence of the guest or a reason of the type listed in the preceding paragraph; or
- Not promptly reported to the Hotel on discovery
- The Hotel's liability for loss of or damage to a guest's property shall be limited to AED800 except where caused through the negligence or willful misconduct of the Hotel.
- The Hotel does not accept any liability for loss or damage to a guest's vehicle unless caused by the Hotel's negligence or wilful misconduct
- Guests shall be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury they may cause at the Hotel
Lost Property
- Lost and found items will remain on the Hotel's premises for a period of six months, after which time they will then be sent to Dubai Police for a further three months, as per local government regulations. Any perishable goods (such as food, beverages or personal care items) will be disposed of immediately. In the case of large amounts of jewellery, money, or any suspicious or banned items, the Hotel is obliged to contact the police immediately, and await their instructions.
- To claim any lost and found items, a guest should first contact the Hotel. Should contact be made more than six months after the item concerned was found, the Hotel will forward the relevant contact details of the police station, along with reference details of the item to the guest. These will need to be taken to the police station by the guest personally for collection.
