Green Lakes Serviced Apartments are well-positioned for getting around the Dubai Marina and into the city. The most convenient form of transportation is by taxi, or rental car. The city has an efficient bus service and there are plans to implement water taxis along the shoreline in the near future as well as a metro service, due to open in 2009.

Taxis
We will be happy to order a taxi for you at any time although metered taxis can be hailed on the streets at any time of day. There is no need to negotiate on the fare as there are strict rules on meter use throughout the city.

Car Hire
Both chauffeured car hire and private car rental can be arranged by the Concierge team with rates varying depending on the size and capacity of the car. An International Driving Licence is normally required. If you are driving yourself, please be aware that roads can become heavily congested during the morning and evening and the level of construction work can result in temporary road layouts changing on a daily basis.
