Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa, located in the emirate of Dubai, and lies within a sub- region of the northern desert belt. Enjoying 345 days a year of clear sunshine the climate is, over 8 months of the year warm and dry.
Summer, from June to September, sees temperatures rise to the mid- to late- 40’s, with variations of 10-12 C between day and night. Although slightly hotter inland, the desert air is more comfortable, with substantially lower humidity than the coastal regions.
From Autumn in October through to April, rainfall is erratic and generally localized, with short sharp showers followed by clear skies. Daytime temperatures range from 20 to 30 degrees, and can fall to a crisp 9 degrees Celsius at night.
If required, transfers can be arranged from Dubai International Airport by taxi or limousine and we offer the use of our private helipad for arrivals and departures by helicopter.
We are also happy to arrange to take you to and from Abu Dhabi and Sharjah airports, as well as providing land transfers from any pick-up point within the UAE.

Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa is located off the Dubai / Al Ain highway (E66) approximately one hour’s drive from Dubai International Airport, 65 kilometres south east of Dubai.
Access to the Dubai / Al Ain highway from Sheikh Zayed Road is from Trade Centre junction, onto the Oud Metha Road, following the signs for E66 - Al Ain.
The exit for Al Maha is 4.7 kilometres beyond Exit 50 (Interchange 8) for Murquab on the Al Ain highway.
Since unauthorised vehicles are not allowed into the resort, you may drive your own vehicle to the gate and a complimentary transfer, taking approximately 10 minutes, will be arranged to take you to the hotel, whilst your vehicle will be left in the safety of secure covered parking.
