Al Maha is a conservation-based sanctuary, set amidst the breathtaking beauty of the Arabian desert, designed not only to inspire, but also to blend effortlessly with the surrounding environment.

Just inside the main entrance of the hotel, you will find The Gallery, our inviting resort shop where you can find a range of original gifts and souvenirs to take home as a special reminder of your stay with us. If you have liked a particular item in your suite or around the resort, you will most likely find it is available to purchase from The Gallery, and as always, Al Maha's thoughtful personalised service ensures that treasured items can be shipped safely to your home.
The resort is scattered with traditional antiques from around the Middle East and The Gallery showcases a selection of pieces ranging from 80 to 120 years old. Omani silver jewellery sits alongside a symbol of national identity, the Khanjar, an unusually shaped ceremonial dagger, as well as other weaponry and ornamental items, such as small bronzes and tea sets. Islamic art and framed antique silver pieces are also on show.
A range of luxury small leather goods were specially commissioned four years ago and have proved very popular since their introduction. High quality cowhide is embossed with the distinctive Al Maha logo of the Arabian Oryx and the range includes key fobs, binoculars, small change trays, wallets and purses.
We also sell items of clothing carrying the Al Maha logo as well as toiletries and the unique tissue box covers found in your room; along with pashminas, incense and ornaments.
The resort itself is lined with ornate rugs, integral to the Arabian home. The Gallery sells rugs of the highest quality, produced in silk and wool, from Kashmir, Afghanistan and Iran in varying styles and sizes.
Traditional items of clothing and jewellery, including South Sea pearls, are all available so you can return home with an enduring and authentic souvenir from the region.
In addition, our art collection is extensive and some of the pieces around the resort are available as prints or reproductions from The Gallery - please see the section Art Collection for more details.
